Papua police chief Inspector General Tito Karnavian said, the public reported them to the Papua Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu), which handed over the cases to the local police for criminal investigation.
“There are a total of 24 people from several regencies and we are following up on the cases,” he said on Tuesday (17/6).

The commissioners allegedly tampered with the vote count, did not hold the plenary and several other violations. “We will summon them then we proceed with the evidence. If there is enough evidence, then we will send the dossiers to prosecutors,” he said.
